Canned Tomato Soup

Fall is here and for many of us, that means we are starting to put our gardens to bed.  I have a fairly large garden so a lot of my time this summer was spent tending to the garden and bringing in a LOT of fresh veggies, including tomatoes.  What I didn't eat fresh was washed, cored, and frozen.  This is a great way to preserve your tomatoes until you are ready to process them.

The process was really simple.  I removed the bags from my freezer and put them in my roaster to thaw out overnight.  The next day after they were thawed I slipped the skins off and put them on dehydrator trays. to make tomato powder.  That way I a not wasting anything.
